BUSINESS PLANNING WORKSHOP AUGUST 2015 REPORT

The 3 days Business Planning Workshop held form 18th to 20th August 2015 with dynamic female entrepreneurs eager to grow and expand their businesses in attendance.

The workshop had two guest facilitators, Chartered Accountant, Mr Fasoro and ILO trained entrepreneurial development professional and also member of the Board of Trustees of Women of Essence Foundation Mrs Kenny Omojola.

The facilitators taught on Raising Capital for Business/ Pricing of Products and Developing Marketing Plan for Business respectively.

The participants also watched and discussed lessons learnt from the biographies of Ray Kroc, the brain behind the expansion of MacDonald’s and the Kellogs brothers, inventors of Kellogs brand of cereals.

The presentation of business plans by the participants on the last day of the workshop was excellent, an evidence that they had learnt tangible lessons from the start of the workshop. They confidently described their businesses, the mission and vision of same, their marketing plans, pricing strategies and prices of products to ensure profitability.
